Summer Tablescape and Girl’s Brunch

One of the things I love doing is hosting.  I love having people over to eat, drink and let’s face it – gossip.  I have two neighbors that are moving and I wanted to do something special for them.  I wanted them to to be able to come over, not have to bring anything, eat and enjoy the day, and leave without putting anything away or cleaning.  I set the table with a pretty runner from Pottery Barn kept the centerpiece simple with a dough bowl and some moss.  I found some cute braided placemats from Target that tied my summertime look together.

This cream cheese bread has always been a huge hit.  My husband always asks if I’m going to make it and if I think there will be leftovers.  It’s gooey and oozing with cream cheese throughout the center.  It’s also loaded with calories.  You can get the recipe below!

This sausage and hash brown casserole has been a hit the past two brunches I’ve thrown.  The great thing about this one is that it’s only five ingredients and I can throw it together the night before and throw it in 45 minutes before everyone shows up.  It was a Pinterest find…you can get the recipe for it HERE.

Add a little fruit on a pretty tray, pop some Rose’ and you’ve got yourself a party!
