I really didn’t know what kind of nursery I wanted for Grady. I used Pinterest and scrolled through tons of pictures. I don’t care for themes, or animals, or trucks…I wanted something that was soft and serene. Not to be selfish, but I wanted to pick what I wanted because I knew that one day he was going to pick what he wanted, whether I liked it or not. Not only that, I was the one that had to be in this room all the time. I kept gravitating towards neutral colors, specifically gray. I decided to stick with gray and white because I knew that once he was able to pick his own big boy room, I would be able to take a lot of what we already had and transfer it. And it’s fitting that we call Grady “Gray” for short.
Scroll below for a look at Grady’s nursery! I provided links under each photo in case you’re interested in adding anything to your baby’s room!
So there you have it! We painted the walls a light gray and added crown moulding around the ceiling. I still enjoy sitting in his room…only now instead of nursing sessions, it’s to read him a bedtime story and say prayers. Maybe this gives you some inspiration for one of your rooms!
