I wanted to start a little tradition where I make a special breakfast for my family for Valentine’s Day. I can just picture my (hopefully) future kids, gathered around the table, enjoying something I’ve made that’s different from what I usually make every day. This breakfast only LOOKS fancy! It took nothing at all to throw it together the night before. All I used were some $4 table scatter from Michael’s and a few red placemats!
I threw the heart scatter in a tall jar that I already had available and then placed some scatter around it. I added a pink candle and scalloped plate chargers (that I used last Easter). The dessert stand was a wedding gift five years ago and it’s still going strong. I use it often to make food prettier. Fancy Shmancy!
The cinnamon rolls were absolutely delicious and so stinkin’ easy. All I had to buy were Pillsbury puff pastry sheets! The recipe for the rolls are HERE.
I also made a breakfast casserole with sausage, hashbrowns, egg and cheese. It’s also super easy and you can assemble it the night before. The recipe for that is HERE.
Grady got a cute little Micky book (that’s his thing these days). Next year I’ll do a little bucket with treats!
Maybe this will inspire you to start a little breakfast tradition of your own!
