Grady’s Easter Basket

This year we (over) stuffed Grady’s Easter basket with a farm set. He has a small one and he loves it. He’s not quite two, but we’re starting to see pretend play happening and it’s usually with his current farm. This new one is full of different animals, food and a tractor and we’ll just add it to his old one. This farm set came in a huge box and it only cost us $7. This was a $40 farm! My husband is notorious for being cheap, and also for venturing out the day after Christmas to find any and every deal. He found the farm at Sam’s Club and snatched it up, knowing Grady loved things farm related. Instead of giving it to him right away, Scott suggested we just hide it and put it in his Easter basket. So now Grady’s basket is full and we didn’t have to search high and low for little trinkets. I also didn’t have to fill his basket with tons of candy and chocolate. I love the idea of giving him a set of “something” and I found a ton of other neat sets. Most of them under $20. I provided links below. OR, you could just do like my husband and go out the day after Christmas and get ready for Easter!

The two Easter books were from Marshall’s for $6 a piece. Cotton Tails snack bag was $1 at Target.

Hopefully this will give you some ideas for your Easter baskets this year!
