Blue and White Easter Tablescape

Easter was a little different this year. Being under quarantine doesn’t really make for a “normal” holiday. It was an odd feeling not going to church, but we made the best of it, spent the day counting our blessings, and remembering the real reason we celebrate Easter.

Even though we were stuck at home, there was no excuse for me not to set the table for Easter lunch. I actually enjoyed it, and it made me feel good about bringing my boys together.

I recently purchased a plate and cup set for Grady. I thought maybe it would be better for him to have something of his own, rather than eat off my china. I bought a blue gingham melamine plate to place the plates on top of. I haven’t bought a special plate set for the baby yet, but I went ahead and bought two of the gingham plates for each of the boys.

I don’t really purchase a ton of new things every year for a new tablescape. I get a few things here and there and mix with items I already have. I loved this square tablecloth as it only took up a corner of my table (that seats 10). It was the perfect size for just the three of us.

The white linen hemstitch napkins I’ve had for a while and I’m able to mix and match them for different holidays. Definitely a great investment. Same concept with the white lace chargers. I bought them a while ago but have been able to reuse them for multiple occasions.
