This is the first year in which I have gotten everything done before Thanksgiving. Photos, Christmas cards, shopping and stockings. Check, Check, Check. Last year I was pregnant and exhausted. Not to mention that I traveled to Florida with Grady for two weeks and didn’t get back until the first week of December. We had the baby in March, we’ve gotten our footing as a family of four, and are rolling on through.
I booked a session with Britney Stone Photography. She captured the most beautiful memories of our little family. It was the quickest photo shoot I’ve ever had. She had us done in 15 minutes. It took me longer to get myself and the boys ready than it did to take the pictures.
I kept our color scheme to green and navy. The onesie I bought Drake he’ll wear again for his Baptism. Special outfits like that I end up keeping and will give back to him one day. My skirt was so cheap. It ended up being $22. I wish I could say the same for my shoes. Grady’s clothes I try to keep as simple as possible because he doesn’t like to wear anything. My husband asked me what he should wear 45 minutes before we were to go take pictures. I could have killed him. In the end, our pictures turned out beautiful.
