One of the most common questions I get is what makes a cookie basic? Is this considered elaborate? I price my cookies three different ways: basic, detailed and elaborate. This custom set is considered basic. What makes it basic?
- Minimum color scheme (blue and white and royal icing is already white so I technically only had to use blue)
- Minimal personalization (she asked for the baby plaque but that one was quick and simple)
- Not a ton of layers or florals
- Most of the cookies I flooded with white icing and just used my airbrush machine to spray a little blue print for a smidge of added detail
- Minimal time (this set only took few hours since it was so basic)
Basic doesn’t mean boring! Basic cookies can still be cute. They just take me way less time to accomplish.
